Danza Del Sol Winery Wedding

Temecula is a great place for weddings. Photographers have so many options when photographing the bride and groom.  The vineyards, estates, the valley all make for great photos.

A couple months ago I got a notification from Facebook letting me know my old friend Ron’s relationship status had been updated from “in a relationship” to “engaged”. I immediately knew a phone call from Ron was imminent. So when he called me to tell me the news I wasn’t surprised but happy. I was honored when he asked if I would be their wedding photographer. Ron has known my wife for over 35 years and was our officiant at our wedding in Rosarito, Mexico 12 years ago. Having participated in our wedding, I was happy to be there for him and his Fiance.

Wedding Ceremony in Temecula

Ron and Lauren celebrated their love for one another at the beautiful Danza Del Sol Winery in Temecula. The location and venue were perfect. Located 60 miles north of San Diego and 90 miles southeast of Los Angeles makes visiting convenient. Capturing the moments of Lauren getting ready with her bridesmaids and mother were inspiring. The mood in the room was fun and full of excitement. Then on to Ron and his groomsmen and the feeling was the same for them. Everyone was having a great time.

Their ceremony took place in the courtyard overlooking the vineyard. A beautiful Jewish ceremony was performed by the Rabbi. After the glass was broken and the wedding was sealed with a kiss we took a stroll into the vineyard for some romantic post ceremony portraits. Although it threatened to rain throughout the day we dodged the drops and the stormy clouds turned out to make stunning pics.

The guests enjoyed themselves during the cocktail hour sipping on local wine. The Spanish style estate club house was a perfect setting for an intimate reception where Ron and Lauren danced the horah.
