Wedding Day Emergency Kit

Wedding Day Emergency Kit
No matter how perfectly you plan your wedding, small surprises can still pop up — and that’s where a wedding day emergency kit comes in. Whether it’s a loose button, a sudden headache, or a smudge on your makeup, having a well-stocked kit can save the day (and your sanity). As a wedding photographer who’s seen it all, I can’t recommend this enough for brides, grooms, or even the maid of honor. Helping brides prepare for any wedding challenge.
A wedding day emergency kit is the holy grail of wedding day stress relief. Be sure to prepare your kit with items from our list and anything else you might need. If you have any good additions you think we might need to add to our list please let us know by clicking here.

Wedding Day Emergency Kit for Grooms
While most of the wedding spotlight shines on the bride, grooms have their own set of last-minute surprises to handle. From keeping your suit sharp to staying cool under pressure, having a groom-specific emergency kit can make the difference between a smooth day and a frantic scramble. Whether you’re the groom, best man, or just a well-prepared groomsman, this kit ensures you’re ready for anything — so you can focus on enjoying every moment.

Top 10 Must-Haves for the Groom’s Emergency Kit
- Lint roller – Keep your suit or tux looking crisp and free of fuzz or pet hair.
- Deodorant – A long day in a suit can get sweaty; a fresh swipe keeps you confident.
- Mints or gum – Fresh breath is non-negotiable, especially for the first kiss.
- Pain reliever – For any pre-ceremony headaches or sore muscles.
- Stain remover wipes – Coffee spills or makeup smudges can sneak up fast.
- Razor or electric trimmer – For a last-minute touch-up or fixing uneven spots.
- Shoe polish or wipes – Make sure your shoes stay sharp and scuff-free.
- Extra shirt or undershirt – Great for hot weather or if nerves cause you to sweat through.
- Tissues or handkerchief – For your vows, or to hand off to someone who needs it.
- Phone charger or power bank – Stay connected for those important texts, directions, or vendor calls.
Bottom Line
Both the bride and the groom should pack an emergency kit for their wedding day. It is better to be prepared than get caught off guard.
Pro tip: Designate your maid of honor and best man to pack the e- kit for you.
